The Wish Fulfilling Prayer Of The All Good Samantabhadra
(Be with your own Mind)
Ah
The all-pervading mind of Samantabhadra
Abides within one’s heart
Ah
This experience of Awareness
Is beyond concept
Ah
Ho!
Every and all things
This omniverse of samsara and nirvana is of one source,
But within this there are two paths that lead to different destinations;
The miraculous display of either ignorance or knowingness
By way of Samantabhadra’s prayer, all will perfectly awaken in
The palatial dimension that is the real condition of things!
This all source is unconditioned, uncompounded
Self-arisen, infinite inconceivability
Where all names and labels
Including ‘samsara’ and ‘nirvana’ don’t apply
Relaxing into this all source you cannot help but awaken
Unfortunately, those “I” bound beings who are ignorant of this
Compulsively generate
And are then lost in, their own needless sufferings
May all beings of the three realms
Including oneself
Realize the true nature of this ineffable all source, just as it is
in the realization of this all source
Beyond cause and conditions
One’s ultimate identity is Samantabhadra
Just this spontaneously present awareness
Pure of any attempt to define an outer expression
Pure of the need to grasp at or push away any inner ‘witness’
And certainly free of any dimwittedness.
It is a perfectly pure pleasure
To relax into this spontaneously present, open awareness.
The very identity of this intrinsic awareness is me, the all good Samantabhadra,
Naturally apart from any fears even as worlds arise and dissolve
Naturally apart from attachment even as sense objects arise and pass
Because there is no solidity of a subject or of the five defiling poisons
In this state of non-conceptual self-knowing awareness
And although singular in essence
The inherent structure of this continuity of awareness is the five wisdoms
Becoming familiar with this wisdoms there emerges the five buddha families
In this expansive heart space abide the 42 peaceful buddhas,
The active capacity of the five wisdoms manifests the 60 wrathful buddhas
Quite apart from any hint of delusion is this ground of original awareness
By this prayer of the primordially awakened Samantabhadra
May all “i” bound wanders in the three realms of samsara
Realize this spontaneously present awareness
And ever expand into its limitless wisdom.
My emanations are unceasing and continually manifest
As inconceivable billions of forms are displayed
In whatever guise is most suitable to tame and train beings to be benefited.
By the power and compassion of my prayer,
From the six karmic traps, may all beings be liberated.
Starting with the delusion that beings experience
When ignorant of the ground of awareness
their ensuing unmindfulness and indecisiveness
unconsciously sets the stage for a great many mistakes.
This going unconscious
Breeds a suspicious, dualizing mind
Causing a grasping hope towards the image of oneself
And a ‘pushing-away’ fear of the other as a potential enemy
Through reinforcing this habit
Of perceiving separation
There emerge the sorrow and compulsive repetitiveness which is samsara,
Wherein we rehearse and develop our emotional reactions
And the actions that they demand of us endlessly.
All of this occurs on a count of
The initial ignoring of
One’s own natural awareness.
Through this prayer of mine,
The all good primordial Buddha, Samantabhadra,
All beings will be able to clarify their minds,
Release all the clinging
And recognize the presence of
A self-aware knowingness.
Innate ignorance
Means all perception is derived from
A lack of mindfulness and distraction.
Conceptual ignorance
Means dualistic thinking that further separates self and other.
Both of these kinds of ignorance form the basis of the delusion of beings.
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
May all you beings wandering in samsara
Clear away the dark fog of unmindfulness,
Clear away the clinging thoughts of duality!
Surely, generic Apcalis have become the blessing for the old man to get rid http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1482459178_add_file_3.pdf levitra cheap of erectile dysfunction . People these days are facing a lot of problem in their viagra professional price http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1483111470_add_file_5.pdf life and this indeed ruins their relationship as well. Don’t keep on cheap india viagra checking with too many of solutions as searching too many of options can be really time-consuming.May you recognize your own intrinsic awareness!
Dualistic thoughts create doubt,
From subtle attachment to this dualistic turn of mind,
Dualistic tendencies become stronger and thicker.
Food, wealth, clothes, home, and friends,
The five objects of the senses, and your beloved family
All these things cause torment by creating longing and desire.
These are all worldly delusions; the activities of grasping and clinging are endless.
When the fruition of attachment ripens,
You are born as a hungry ghost,
Tormented by coveting and desiring, miserable, starving and thirsty.
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
May all you desirous and lustful beings who have attachments
Neither reject longing desires nor accept attachment to desires.
Let your consciousness relax in its own natural state;
Then your awareness will be able to hold its own.
May you achieve the wisdom of perfect discernment!
When external objects appear,
The subtle consciousness of fear will arise.
From this fear, the habit of anger becomes stronger and stronger.
Finally, hostility comes, causing violence and murder.
When the fruition of this anger ripens,
You will suffer in hell by boiling and burning
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
You beings of the six realms, when strong anger arises for you,
Neither reject nor accept it.
Instead, relax in the natural state and achieve the wisdom of clarity!
When your mind becomes prideful,
There will arise thoughts of competition and humiliation.
As this pride becomes stronger and stronger,
You will experience the suffering of quarrels and abuse.
When the fruition of this karma ripens,
You will be born in the god realm
And experience the suffering of change and falling (to lower births).
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
May you beings who develop pride
Let your consciousness relax in the natural state;
Then your awareness will be able to hold its own.
May you achieve the wisdom of equanimity!
By increasing the habit of duality,
By praising yourself and denigrating others,
Your competitive mind will lead you to jealousy and fighting,
And you will be born in the jealous god realm,
Where there is much killing and injury.
From the result of that killing, you will fall into the hell realm
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
When jealous and competitive thoughts arise,
Do not grasp them as enemies: just relax in ease;
Then consciousness can hold its own natural state.
May you achieve the wisdom of unobstructed action!
By being distracted, careless, and unmindful,
You beings will become dull, foggy, and forgetful.
By being unconscious and lazy,
You will increase your ignorance,
And the fruition of this ignorance will be
To wander helplessly into the animal realm.
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer,
May you beings who have fallen into the dark pit of ignorance
Shine the light of mindfulness
And thereby achieve the wisdom free from thought.
All you beings of the three realms
Are actually identical to buddhas, the ground of all;
But your misunderstanding of the ground causes you to go astray,
So you act without aim.
The six karmic actions are a delusion, like a dream.
I am the primordial buddha
Here to train the six kinds of beings through all my manifestations.
Through Samantabhadra’s prayer may all you beings without exception
Attain enlightenment in the state of the real condition of things.
Ah ho!
Whenever a dedicated yogi or yogini
With awareness radiant and free from delusion
Recites this very powerful prayer,
Then all who hear it
Will achieve enlightenment within three lifetimes.
During an eclipse, during an earthquake,
At the solstices, or the new year,
If you visualize yourself as Samantabhadra.
And pray thus so all can hear,
Then beings of the three realms
Will be gradually liberated from suffering
Through the prayer
And will inevitably achieve enlightenment!
